VIP Hosts

Shauntel joined Elite Casino Resorts in April 2024 as a VIP Host at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, IA, and transferred to Grand Island Casino Resort in February 2025. She brings vibrant energy and a true passion for guest service. With a background in horticulture and a love for the outdoors, Shauntel enjoys creating memorable experiences for every guest she meets. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, and occasionally running marathons. Be sure to say hello to Shauntel the next time you see her in the casino!

Karla joined the VIP team at Grand Island Casino Resort in April, 2025. She comes with experience in Public Relations, Customer Service, Marketing, and professional and community Leadership. She has been involved in several non-profit boards in Grand Island and has many volunteer experiences in the community. She is currently the President of the Grand Island Sunrise Rotary Club and is a board member of the Hargis House of Grand Island. She volunteers for child care at her church as well.

She is passionate about spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel, garden, bake (she makes cakes for weddings and special events) and home décor. She also has an antique booth at Railroad Towne Antique mall.

Chantel Ritter a Grand Island, Nebraska local with a diverse background that spans student leadership, healthcare, hospitality, and business. During high school, she served as the President of the Student Council, demonstrating early leadership and a passion for community involvement. After graduating, she worked as a CNA/CMA in assisted living, providing compassionate care to residents.

Transitioning into the hospitality industry, Chantel began her career at Grand Island Casino Resort as a Hotel Supervisor before advancing to become a VIP Host, where she excels in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she loves helping people feel welcomed and comfortable.

Beyond her work, Chantel enjoys spending time with her dog Dulce, fishing, hiking, camping, and playing guitar.

With her friendly demeanor, leadership skills, and dedication to community, Chantel is passionate about making a positive impact both at work and in her hometown.
